i got a call to work the mary j. blige show. her tour starts in richmond i believe and there's two days of rehearsals and then a show. then i also got a call to work the WWE show. word on the street is that catering for that show is amazing. apparently all those wrestler dudes eat is steak.
so dustin had a tenant call him freaking out about a 'moldy ceiling' in one of his buildings, things have been nuts at the warehouse so he sent me to take care of it. it was nothing, as i suspected, just some mildew. unbeknownst to me, there was an entertaining exchange of text messages:
and i'm irish, not scottish...
so i am attending a fantastic party this weekend. there will be wine, a movie projector, food and beautiful women. i am in charge of the cooking of the meat and the building of the fire pit. being the man that i am i had to go and take measurements and do other preparations. you have to be kind to the earth so gravel is necessary once you physically dig the pit. there is currently a giant bucket of it sitting in my truck. also i needed some rough measurements of the border stones to contain the flame and ash. david went with me to the garden center and provided me with the appropriate mathematical formulas to calculate how many stones to get.
come saturday my truck will be filled with gravel, border stones, and enough firewood to heat winterfell...very much looking forward to this shindig with all of these wonderful people
