moving bravely forward

there is going to be a new warehouse.  the guys bought the old hostess building on staples mill.  we haven't moved in yet but there's a lot of work being done there.  fred had a gang and they gutted the place.  i've been using a lot of the scrapped wood to crate things up and the best part is that the lauan sheets smell like cupcakes.
removing the sigils of a lesser house from an OSHA approved truck.  steve is king of all he surveys.

last week some guys came in to look at some equipment.  i'm not sure how it came up but it turns out they were krav maga instructors.  a rather fascinating utilitarian martial art developed by a jewish man living in occupied poland during wwII, it was adopted by the israeli special forces.  no fancy names for techniques or belt levels or anything like that.  basically a practical way to disarm an armed assailant in close quarters.  it looks like this.  apparently next time they come by we'll be having a lesson...

so sometime between now and jan 1rst we have to be out of our old warehouse.  there is a lot of stuff.  not exactly sure all this will happen but somehow things always happen and get done.
