this week involved 48 quarts of battery acid, driving to new york to deliver floor mixers and back, dealing with italian restaurants, filling a dumpster, making ice cream and sausages and popcorn, selling said popcorn machine (thank god), and teaching dustin how to hire laborers in spanish. equipaje does in fact mean luggage. it's ok though.
i meet a lot of interesting people. the guy who owns piccola's is probably my favorite. he simply does not give a shit about anything not related to his business. don't ever call him italian: he's sicilian. one time he was telling us how he had a nintendo when they first came out. "my wife, she's-a kicking me telling me to go to work and i say but i gotta save-a the princess!".
if you drive to new york regularly you know that you're going to have to stop at some point. i recommend stopping at the delaware house. at 4am they had a burger king and a starbucks open. at 1pm it was like a party in there. david hood was my travel buddy and he always insists on the delaware house. cleanest bathrooms in the northeast: it's like relieving yourself in someone's living room, except the police won't be notified. and no sales tax- the delawarians foot the bill so you don't have to!
no day is like the one before it and everyday is an adventure.
go home garibaldi. you're wasted.
