so things, as usual, have been pretty busy around the warehouse. we picked up a tractor-trailer load of goodies from a deli in raleigh, nc. pizza ovens have been rebuilt and installed. days are busy and happy.
so we had an italian gentleman drop a small fortune on our equipment, including a rather unique and possibly obscure model of pizza oven. fred made him a door handle out of a nice piece of white oak, sealed and shellacked. i think it turned out well:
i think this particular italian gentleman liked everything we did for him because he sent us the biggest damn pizza i have ever seen:
so my title is technically 'warehouse manager' and with so much stuff coming in and going out it can be a little daunting. one thing at a time. everything from raleigh was photographed on site before we loaded it. the auction has been set up and it ends friday. preview is wednesday. earlier this week fred and i started unloading the 53ft trailer slammed with stuff. we got it organized for auction preview so everything is easy to find. this is not usually the norm but a change for the better.
there's a lot of stuff and most of it's practically new
when we loaded out this deli in nc, they gave us a bunch of sodas, including 'dr. brown's celery soda'. i think it's disgusting; al thinks it's the shit. to each their own!
