supply and command

busy.  55-60 hour work weeks of trying to get moved by the end of december.  i've been having deep conversations with the clockmaker.  i stepped outside of the cottage to enjoy the sunlight and i missed a turn driving.  always maintain focus.  the guy that we rent the old warehouse from says we are all insane.  he may be right...

i can't drive stick.  it's a problem i've had since i was a little boy.  the ex-girlfriend forklift is propane with a clutch.  fred dialed down the throttle so that if you do anything without clutching and giving it gas the thing stalls out.  sadly, i end up driving it like a 15 year-old girl.  still, it's better than the junkie forklift, which is battery operated and you have to juice up at the battery charger every half an hour.  apparently somebody filled it with water instead of battery acid and ever since the thing won't hold a charge.  even after fred and i changed out the fluid.  if you are ever pouring battery acid with fred, make sure you are doing the pouring and not the holding of the spigot...

full on viking.  i think fred and i do our best communicating when we're yelling at each other.  like when he hosed down the floor right by the bay door which is exactly where i've been unloading the truck and i hopped out and promptly fell on my ass.

"it's only gay because your hair is slicked back and i'm dressed like a lumberjack"- things tend to get a little silly after 5p.

i've been sleeping well.  my pants fit better than they have in a long time.  it's good.  i need to find my music.  my writing used to come from a rather sad and melancholy place and in the past few months that place has gotten very small.  from the sad place i had a lot to say.  from the content place...i have to figure that out.  playing still helps.  i have two UR gigs on saturday.  if they make us wear santa claus hats i may hit somebody.

how do you eat an elephant?  one bite at a time...
